5 Minute Snack Idea: Snickerdoodle Smoothie

5 minute snack idea: snickerdoodle smoothie pinit

This recipe is suitable for 6 month baby & up

If you’re looking for a snack that’s quick to prepare, delicious, and packed with nutrients this 5 minute snack idea:  Snickerdoodle Smoothie is the perfect solution. Inspired by the warm, cinnamon-spiced flavor of the classic cookie, this smoothie combines indulgent taste with wholesome ingredients, making it a favorite for both kids and adults. Best of all, it’s ready in just five minutes, making it an ideal option for busy mornings, after-school snacks, or post-playtime refueling. Who doesn’t love a cookie flavored shake?!

Why Snickerdoodle Smoothie?

  • It is so easy to make, with just a few simple ingredients that you probably have in your house right now. Ripe banana, peanut butter, cinnamon and vanilla.
  • If you have a busy day, an after school or quick after park snack to refuel, you can serve this smoothie anytime of the day.
  • This 5 minute snack idea: Snickerdoodle Smoothie is vegan and incredibly versatile. If your little one has any allergies like peanut allergy, you can replace with any nut or seed butter you prefer.
  • This smoothie has a creamy texture and dessert-like flavor, great for picky eaters, while the natural sweetness satisfies sugar cravings in a healthier way.

Tip:

If you like your smoothies cold you can add ice, but for babies I don’t recommend adding any. For toddler or older kids you can add a little ice. Depending on how much ice you add, you might need a little more liquid.

What you need:

A Blender

Ingredients & Substitutions:

Banana- The bananas provide a natural sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie, I don’t recommend replacing it in this recipe.

Peanut Butter- This is a great source of healthy fats and protein, if you have a little one who has a peanut allergy, try swapping it for sunflower seed butter, almond butter or tahini. Whatever nut or seed butter you prefer will work.

Non-dairy milk- For this recipe you can adjust the milk to your preference. You can choose cow milk, almond milk, oat milk, soy milk or any non-dairy milk you prefer.

Cinnamon- The cinnamon is needed in this smoothie, it gives you the full snickerdoodle flavor. I don’t recommend removing it.

Vanilla Extract- I love the added vanilla flavor, but you can omit if preferred.
