This hearty, nutrient-packed dish combines fluffy quinoa with sweet bananas, juicy blueberries, and a touch of natural sweetness, making it a satisfying and versatile breakfast option for the whole family.

Quinoa really is one of those superfoods for babies and toddlers. It has all nine essential amino acids, making it a complete plant protein. This warm, creamy, nourishing, hearty breakfast is excellent when starting solids and one that you can share with baby. I take out babies portion and like to add a little maple syrup to mine. This one breakfast bowl is packed with healthy carbs, fiber, protein, iron, zinc, potassium, a variety of different vitamins and minerals and comes out so yummy!

Why Choose Blueberry Banana Quinoa?

  1. Nutritional Powerhouse:
Quinoa is a superfood loaded with protein, fiber, and essential amino acids. It’s a fantastic gluten-free grain that provides slow-releasing energy, keeping kids active and adults focused throughout the morning. Blueberries add antioxidants and vitamin C, while bananas contribute potassium and natural sweetness, making this a balanced and nourishing meal.
  2. Great for All Ages:
This breakfast is soft and easy to chew, making it perfect for kids, including toddlers, while being hearty enough to satisfy adults. Its natural flavors appeal to all palates, and it can be customized to meet individual preferences. For little one’s I recommend blending everything together for a smoother texture.
  3. Allergen-Friendly and Versatile:
Free from common allergens like gluten, dairy, and nuts (depending on toppings), this recipe is a safe choice for families with dietary restrictions.

How to Serve:

6 month baby & up- I recommend blending it into a smooth puree with no added sweeteners.

12 months & up- You can add a drizzle of maple syrup, honey and some more chopped fruit on top. Sprinkle a little chia or coconut shreds. Can top off with a little peanut butter or almond butter, you can really customize it to your liking.
