Fudgy Avocado Brownie Bites

🍫🥑 Fudgy Avocado Brownie Bites

These fudgy avocado brownie bites are honestly one of the most surprising recipes I’ve ever made. If I didn’t make them myself, I would never believe there was avocado hiding inside. They’re rich, chocolatey, incredibly fudgy, perfectly moist, and taste like a decadent brownie bite, yet they’re made with wholesome ingredients and contain no oil and no flour.

And when I say these are good, I mean really good. My kids absolutely devour them, and honestly, so do I. They’re one of those healthier desserts that doesn’t feel healthy at all. You get that fudgy brownie texture everyone loves, with plenty of chocolate flavor in every bite.

The avocado completely disappears into the batter, leaving behind nothing but moisture and richness. Combined with peanut butter or almond butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, oats, eggs, vanilla, and chocolate chips, these brownie bites bake into the most delicious little treats that are perfect for snacks, lunchboxes, dessert, or even a quick energy boost throughout the day.

And because they’re naturally sweetened with maple syrup, there’s no refined sugar needed.

🔄 Substitutions

These fudgy avocado brownie bites are super flexible and easy to customize based on what you have on hand:

  • Peanut Butter: Swap for almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
  • Maple Syrup: Honey can be used instead (for 12 months+ only) 🍯.
  • Oats: Quick oats or rolled oats both work since they’re blended into the batter. You can use all-purpose flour, but use 1/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup.
  • Chocolate Chips: Use dark chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, or dairy-free chocolate chips 🍫.
  • Vanilla Extract: Vanilla bean paste works beautifully as well.
  • Cocoa Powder: Use unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder.
  • Avocado: Make sure it’s ripe for the best texture and flavor. The avocado is a key ingredient in this recipe and is not recommended to substitute.
