Pea Carrot & Potato Puree

Can be given to 6+ months

This simple, healthy, delightful puree is super yummy and consists of only 3 ingredients.

The pea, carrots and potato blend beautifully together, while offering a balanced and nutritious meal for baby. The peas provide protein, iron, vitamins A, C, and fiber, carrots are rich in beta-carotene and vitamin A, and the potatoes add a creamy texture along with potassium and vitamin C. All ingredients are easily digested and make for a perfect puree when starting solids.

 

How to serve:

For younger babies you can puree into a smooth texture.

If you are transitioning baby from smooth puree to texture, I recommend mashing instead of blending.

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
1/4 cup Frozen green peas
1/2 carrot
1/2 potato You can use gold, russet or idaho potatoes
1-2 oz steamed water

Directions

1.

Step 1

Wash, peel and cut your potato and carrot
Mark as complete
2.

Step 2

Add peas, potato and carrot to steamer and steam for 15 min
Mark as complete
3.

Step 3

When ready blend with steamed water until desired consistency
Mark as complete

Notes

Storage instructions- can refrigerate for 2-3 days or freeze for up to 1 month
