They contain both Iron and Vitamin C, two nutrients that are essential for 6+ months, paired with the earthiness of a steamed beet, which provides iron, fiber, folate, potassium and orange, giving lots of flavor and a boost of Vitamin C, this puree is a wholesome recipe that promotes healthy immunity and digestion. If you haven’t introduced apricots to your little one yet, this is an excellent puree to start with!

Ingredients

Adjust Servings
2 dried apricots You can use fresh if preferred
1/2 ripe banana
1 steamed beet
1/2 juice from an orange
1/3-1/2 cup Filtered water

Directions

Take apricots and put in a small bowl with boiling water and set to the side for 10 min to soften
Mark as complete

Once ready add apricots to blender with banana, steamed beet, juice from an orange and filtered water
Mark as complete

Blend until desired consistency and serve
