This recipe is for 9 month old baby & up
These Peanut Butter Banana Blondies are a favorite on the blog and with good reason. You can’t go wrong with making them, so easy and quick, made with just 5 simple ingredients. These blondies come out very soft, moist and flavorful, everyone loves them! Great for adults, big kids, toddlers and babies! They combine the creamy richness of peanut butter with the natural sweetness of ripe bananas, creating a soft, chewy dessert that’s both satisfying and nutritious. The bananas not only add flavor but also keep the blondies moist without the need for extra sugar, while the peanut butter provides protein and healthy fats, making this a more balanced snack option.
Perfect for lunchboxes, after-school treats, or a special dessert, they are very versatile and can be mixed with fun add-ins like chocolate chips or chopped nuts for older kids. Peanut butter banana blondies are a delightful way to give kids a sweet treat that also offers a bit of nutritional value, making them a win-win for parents and kids alike. My daughter is sweet obsessed, so I always have to have healthy desserts on hand, made with no refined sugar and she loves these! For my 1 year old I don’t need to add anything and he enjoys it as is, but for her she’s a little older so I add a few dark chocolate chips and they taste amazing, I myself enjoy one with a warm cup of coffee.
Suggestion:
I recommend freezing all leftovers once they have cooled, I noticed they tend to dry up if you leave them out on the countertop, but from the freezer I take one, heat it up for about 30-35 seconds in the microwave and it’s soft, moist and delicious!
Substitutions:
You can sub peanut butter for any other nut or seed butter
You can sub eggs for flax eggs
You can sub oat flour for almond flour, all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour
