Apple Oat Blender Muffins

apple oat blender muffins pinit

This recipe is for 9 month baby and up

I love all the fall recipes, especially the warm, beautiful scent of cinnamon apples filling up my home.

These Apple Oat Blender Muffins are quick and easy to make, using clean, healthy, wholesome ingredients. All you do is throw everything in a blender and pour into your muffin tin, no baking experience needed! Made by blending fresh apples, cinnamon, and nutritious ingredients like oats, dates, directly in the blender, coming together in a snap, making them perfect for busy mornings or a fun baking project that can include your little ones!

The natural sweetness of the apples and dates pair perfectly with the warm spice of cinnamon, creating a comforting flavor that’s hard to resist. These muffins are not only tasty but also packed with fiber and vitamins from the apples, making them a wonderful snack option or breakfast. They come out very moist and soft, making them a great option for those babies learning how to chew solids and self-feed.

They are freezer-friendly, you can make them in the beginning of the week and pop them out of the freezer when you are ready to serve. Easy, mess-free, healthy and delicious, doesn’t get better than that!

How to Serve:

We like to top ours with peanut butter (or any type of nut or seed butter) and some yogurt on the side.

Substitutions:

Apples: I don’t recommend swapping the apples with anything

Eggs: Sub with flax eggs or apple sauce and yogurt

Dates: Sub with 1/3 cup maple syrup

Avocado oil: You can sub with any neutral oil or coconut oil or butter

Non-dairy milk: You can use any non dairy milk you prefer, like almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, pea milk or cow milk

Oats: I don’t recommend using another flour in this recipe

What you need:

You can use a mini muffin tin or a normal sized muffin tin

High power blender

Delicious and so easy to make! I had to cook them for about 30 minutes because I have a really outdated oven. Baby and adults LOVED it.

Not sure how the rating works it looks like I can only rate it 3 stars? It’s five stars!!

Delicious. I used a food processor, cow milk and an extra 1/4 of oats. I only had quick oats so it was too wet. Also baked for 30 minutes. My 1 year old granddaughter ate 3 of them. Thank you.

I have never used pitted dates & not comfortable using maple syrup for my 9 month old – can you please advise what type of dates in Australia? When searching Woolies/coles there is alot of options!
Thankyou & sorry for a silly question

Hi! The best ones by far are medjool dates if you can find those, very juicy and sweet.

  • Gismel

Super moist and soft and it tastes like I’m eating oatmeal. They’re like flour less muffins. Great quick snack or breakfast.
