Yogurt Fruit Cups

Yogurt Fruit Cups pinit

What a fun snack that is easy to make and ready in 5 min! If you are looking for easy snack options for babies and toddlers you have to make these yogurt fruit cups! Great to have in the freezer for the week and you can get your little ones involved in the kitchen and make it a fun activity! These are super versatile you can add whichever fruit you like, like bananas, strawberries, blueberries, kiwis and add any nut or seed butter, for older kids you can drizzle date syrup or honey and it comes out delicious.

The yogurt provides protein, calcium, and probiotics, which support digestion and bone health, while the fruit adds natural sweetness along with vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. Yogurt cups are a wonderful recipe to make when your little one is teething, the cold yogurt soothes their gums, while reducing inflammation, just make sure to supervise them as they munch to prevent any choking risks.

Tip:

I recommend using cupcake liners so it is easier to take out or you can use a silicone muffin tin for best results.

When removing the frozen yogurt cups, run a little water to the bottom of the muffin tin and they should come right out, place them in a Ziplock and back in the freezer.

How to Serve:

Younger babies: you can mash your fruit before adding

Older babies: Add small bite size pieces of fruit for texture

All babies: Defrost a little before serving

Substitutions:

Yogurt: For dairy-free option you can use coconut yogurt (which is our favorite), cashew yogurt, soy yogurt, almond milk yogurt or whichever one you like

Nut-Butter: This recipe does well with any nut or seed butter, almond butter, peanut butter, cashew butter or sunflower butter. If your little one has an allergy you can opt out entirely

Date Syrup: You can opt out or for 12 months & up you can replace with honey
