Perfect for Babies, BLW & Early Eaters
These broccoli egg bites are the perfect easy baby breakfast idea. Their soft, fluffy texture makes them ideal for babies who are:
.Just starting solids
.Practicing baby-led weaning (BLW)
.Transitioning to firmer textures
They’re easy to hold, mild in flavor, and naturally free from salt, making them a wonderful option for a healthy, balanced baby breakfast. Serve them whole, halved, or cut into bite-sized pieces depending on your baby’s age and ability.
Easy to Prep, Easy to Store
One of the best things about these egg bites? They’re a meal prep dream:
.Bake them in a mini muffin tin, so they are bite sized and easy for little one’s to eat.
.Store in the fridge for up to 4 days
.Freeze for up to 1 month and reheat as needed – they stay soft and fluffy!
You can reheat them in the microwave in just 20–30 seconds, making them perfect for busy mornings or quick snacks between activities.
Tips for Best Success:
-I recommend using a mini silicone muffin tin for best success. They are a little difficult to pull out of a normal muffin tin since they are delicate.
-You must soften the broccoli beforehand. I boiled it for 10 minutes, but you can also steam it for 10 minutes or microwave it for 2 minutes till soft. If microwaving it, add 2 tbsp of water and make sure to cover it.
-These egg bites are very versatile, you can add whatever vegetables you and your family like. Like chopped spinach or bell peppers, you can sprinkle in some herbs or cheese. You choose based on your preference.
