ABC Oat Bars

This recipe is for 9 month old baby & up

ABC Oat Bars- made with apples, bananas, carrots and oats, who knew snacks can be so easy and healthy.

This wholesome, delicious snack is perfect for adults, older kids, toddlers and babies! These bars combine the natural sweetness of ripe bananas and apples, along with healthy fats from the peanut butter and the nutrient-rich goodness of carrots, all packed into a hearty oat base. They’re easy to make, requiring just a few simple ingredients that are likely already in your pantry.

The oats provide a great source of fiber, while the peanut butter gives healthy fats and protein, making these bars a balanced snack that keeps you energized. The carrots bring in a touch of natural sweetness and extra vitamins and are a great way to get more veggies into your children’s diet. Whether you’re packing them in a lunchbox or enjoying them as a quick breakfast on the go, ABC oat bars are a tasty and nutritious option for everyone to enjoy!

Substitutions:

Oatmeal: I like to use instant oats, since they are thinner in texture and easier for babies & toddlers to chew but you can use rolled oats if preferred.

Peanut butter: You can replace the peanut butter with almond butter, cashew butter, sunflower butter, really whatever nut or seed butter you like.

What you need:

Steamer

8×8 or 9×9 Baking Pan

Parchment Paper

SO easy to make! And my 11mo old is DEVOURING them (and she still has no teeth – so I’d say seems easy for even those without teeth!). My gamer hubby is calling them the “OP abc bar” 😂
