Banana, Peanut Butter, and Sweet Potato Purée: A Creamy and Nutritious Treat for Babies 6 months & up
Wow, this is one of our favorite puree combinations! I myself was licking the spoon and I know you and your baby will too! The combination goes incredible together and comes out so smooth and creamy. It’s almost like a yummy dessert for your little one. This combination creates a naturally sweet, creamy, and protein-packed meal that is perfect for babies and toddlers. Packed with healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, this purée supports brain development, digestion, and sustained energy, making it a great addition to your little one’s diet.
The natural sweetness of white sweet potatoes and bananas blends beautifully with the rich, nutty flavor of peanut butter, creating a silky pudding that’s both satisfying and packed with nutrients. White sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, while bananas provide potassium and a natural sweetness that eliminates the need for added sugars. Peanut butter adds healthy fats and protein, making this pudding a filling snack or dessert. It’s easy to prepare by simply blending the cooked sweet potato, banana, and peanut butter together until smooth. This wholesome pudding offers a perfect balance of flavors and nutrients, making it delicious and healthy!

Substitutions:
Sweet Potato- I used a white hannah sweet potato, but any sweet potato will work.
Banana- I don’t recommend replacing the banana in this recipe, it gives creaminess and sweetness.
Peanut Butter- This can be replaced with any nut or seed butter of choice, for example almond butter or sunflower seed butter.
Breastmilk- For liquid you can use water, breastmilk or formula.
What you need:
A steamer and blender- I recommend the Beaba Baby cook or any other baby cook of choice to make cooking process easier.
