Butternut squash applesauce is a cozy, nutrient-rich twist on traditional applesauce, perfect for both kids and adults. Apples are the star of the show here and add the sweetness, they are full of antioxidants and soluble fiber, particularly pectin, which supports gut health & digestion. By making this sauce at home, you avoid added sugars or preservatives, keeping it pure and wholesome. It’s versatile too, you can enjoy it as a healthy snack, a side dish, serve it to those little one’s just starting solids, add to baked goods or even a topping for pancakes, oatmeal or yogurt.

Fair warning your whole house will be filled with fresh scents of fall. This is the perfect fall recipe you should make your kids and for those who are picky eaters, you can’t even tell the butternut squash is in there. For younger babies leave as is, but for toddlers or kids, you can add a touch of maple syrup or honey depending on how tart your apples are.
