Cauliflower Banana Apricot Cashew Puree

I’m always looking for different ways to make baby’s purees more wholesome, interesting, unique flavors and this one does not disappoint. The cauliflower banana and apricots surprisingly go very well together and then I added a little cashew and it was a hit. Cashew is a tree nut, which is considered an allergen, so if you haven’t introduced it to baby yet you can do so in this puree and start with a small amount.

 

Cashews are packed with heart healthy fats, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, Vitamins E, B6, K and more. This puree is great for bone health, heart health and promote a healthy immune system!

 

 

Cauliflower Banana Apricot Cashew Puree

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Steam cauliflower for 10-15 min until soft
  1. In the meantime put cashews and apricots in small bowl and cover with boiling water for 10 min
  1. When ready add cauliflower, banana, cashews, apricots and a little of the steamed water to blender and blend until nice and creamy
