Chicken Sweet Potato Dinner

This recipe is for 9 month baby & up

If you are looking for yummy, healthy, family-friendly recipes you have to try this Chicken Sweet Potato Dinner, it is the perfect dinner idea for 9 month old babies and up! It only takes 10 minutes of prep time, put it in the oven, do what you need to do around the house and when ready you have a full, beautiful meal for the whole family. Comes out super moist, tender, with juices from the chicken, making it very soft for your little one’s to chew and enjoy.

Tender baked chicken provides a good source of protein, healthy fat, iron, choline, zinc & more, while sweet potatoes, with their natural sweetness and rich orange color, offer plenty of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants like beta-carotene. Seasoned with avocado oil for healthy fats, turmeric, which has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and a little drizzle of date syrup, adding a touch of sweetness and a beautiful golden color to the roasted chicken. It is so healthy, delicious and comforting.

You can make this with chicken thighs, drumsticks, or both, whatever you prefer it always comes out delicious. Whether served for a weeknight dinner or a family gathering, chicken and sweet potatoes are a nourishing, balanced dish that keeps everyone satisfied and happy.

How to Serve:

For babies 9+ months: you can mash the chicken with sweet potatoes together

or you can put small pieces of tender chicken with small pieces of sweet potato

Always make sure to feel around for bones when deboning chicken for little ones, since it can be a choking hazard.

Tips on reheating:

I don’t recommend freezing this recipe, try to eat it fresh or if reheating from the refrigerator warm it up in an air fryer or reheat in oven.
