1. Christmas Tree Avocado Toast
For a savory option, Christmas tree avocado toast is a great choice. Mash ripe avocado and spread it generously over a slice of toast. Create the shape of a Christmas tree by using a cookie shape cutter. Decorate with diced cherry tomatoes or bell peppers for ornaments and some pieces of cheese on the side. This idea is a great way to sneak some veggies into a fun and festive snack.
2. Soft Cheese & Cucumber Tree with Strawberries on the side
Use a tree shaped cookie cutter to cut your toast and spread a nice amount of any soft choice you enjoy, I personally like to use cream cheese. Cut thin slices of cucumbers and cut in half, adding it on top of the toast. For a nice red color, to keep things festive add some cut up strawberries on the side.
3. Peanut Butter & Jam Gingerbread Men
Give your toast a holiday spice twist with gingerbread toast. You can use any nut or seed butter of choice and decorate with jam. I used my homemade
wild blueberry jam, but any type of jam will work. Add some blackberries, or fruit of choice on the side and you have yourself a fun, creative Christmas lunch idea for kids!
