Why PB&J Freezer Bites for Toddlers & Kids?
- Easy & Convenient:
These freezer bites are individually portioned and ready to grab whenever hunger strikes. They’re perfect for busy mornings, playdates or an afternoon snack and they can be enjoyed straight from the freezer for a refreshing, cool snack. - Nutrient-Packed Ingredients:
- Peanut Butter: Rich in protein and healthy fats, peanut butter provides sustained energy and supports growing bodies.
- Strawberries: Strawberries are loaded with vitamin C, antioxidants, fiber which strengthens the immune system and supporting healthy digestion.
- Bananas: Bananas are rich in natural sugars and carbohydrates, providing a quick and sustainable energy source for kids’ busy days. High in fiber and potassium.
- Kid-Approved:
These mini snacks are designed with little hands and developing palates in mind. They’re small, easy to handle, and bursting with familiar flavors kids adore. PB&J Bites are excellent if you have a teething baby or toddler at home, let them suck on it and melt in their mouth.
Tip:
This snack can be enjoyed for babies as little as 9-10 months. I recommend defrosting for a few minutes before serving, so it isn’t too cold for them.
Substitutions:
Peanut Butter- Instead of peanut butter use any other nut or seed butter of choice. For example, almond butter or sunflower seed butter.
Strawberries- For toddlers and older kids replace the strawberries with a little chia jam or sugar-free jam.
Bananas- I don’t recommend replacing the bananas in this recipe.
