Pea Potato Carrot Balls

🥔🥕 Pea Potato Carrot Balls (9 Months & Up)

These pea potato carrot balls are one of my favorite finger foods for babies starting around 9 months and up. They’re soft, flavorful, and hold their shape really well, which makes them perfect for little hands learning how to self-feed. If you’re in that in-between stage of transitioning from purées to firmer solids, these are such a great option.

They come out tender on the inside, lightly set on the outside, and easy for babies to chew or gum. I love that they’re gentle, simple, and made with wholesome ingredients, yet still tasty enough that toddlers and older kids happily eat them too.

What makes these pea potato carrot balls such a go-to baby food is how dependable they are for so many stages and situations. They’re soft enough for little ones just moving on from purées, yet sturdy enough to hold their shape for confident finger-food practice, which is especially reassuring for parents navigating BLW or early self-feeding. The mild, familiar flavors make them great for picky eaters, while the soft interior stays tender even after cooling, no crumbling, no dryness. They’re also ideal for meal prep since they freeze and reheat beautifully, making busy days so much easier. These are the kinds of foods you can serve again and again, knowing they’re easy to eat, gentle on little tummies, and genuinely enjoyed.
