If you want to change up your baby’s breakfast to something warm, nutritious and nourishing this is a great recipe to try!

Quinoa contains all nine essential amino acids that supports baby’s growth and development. It is a complete plant protein, packed with vitamins, minerals omega-3, omega-6, iron, calcium and more! It is truly a superfood for our little ones, paired with the sweetness and fiber from the apples and pears, you have yourself a flavorful, wholesome breakfast.

 

Pear Apple Quinoa Breakfast

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Wash your quinoa and peel & cut your apple and pear
  1. Add to pot with 1 and 1/4 cup water and bring to a boil
  1. Sprinkle generous amount of cinnamon
  1. Cover on low heat for 17-20 min
  1. When ready add 1/2 cup almond milk, breastmilk or formula
  1. Mash or blend everything together and serve
