Strawberry Banana French Toast Bites

Strawberry Banana French Toast Bites: A Kid-Friendly Breakfast Treat for 9 months & up

Wow, wow, wow! These Strawberry Banana French Toast Bites are a favorite on the blog, amongst the parents and babies. It takes about 10 minutes to make, super easy, minimal ingredients and has an explosion of flavors. These pillowy, little squares are incredibly soft, making it easy for babies and toddlers to chew and swallow. The strawberries provide a burst of vitamin C and antioxidants, while bananas contribute potassium and fiber, while the eggs provide protein, omega-3, DHA and Vitamin D, making this dish not only delicious but also packed with essential nutrients.

Easy for little hands to grasp and enjoy, strawberry banana French toast bites are a fun and healthy way to start the day, great if you are practicing BLW, or working on babies self-feeding skills. This easy, yummy breakfast idea is excellent for toddlers and older kids as well. You can serve it to them with a drizzle of maple syrup, nut butter, but honestly they are just as delicious on their own.

Substitutions:

Egg: I recommend making a thick mixture, you can use a flax egg or some non-dairy milk with a little corn starch. One of the moms told me she used almond paste with a little water and that it came out perfect.

Banana: You can substitute with mashed apple or pear

Strawberries: You can omit

Non-dairy milk: Any non-dairy milk will work here, for example almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, pea milk or even cow milk.

What you need:

I like to use my non-stick, non toxic Our Place Pan for best results.
