This recipe is for 7 month baby & up
This Wild Blueberry Chia Pudding is a beautiful, vibrant, nutritious breakfast that is so easy to make and packed with so much goodness! Wild blueberries have 2x the amount of antioxidants as normal blueberries. This simple recipe combines the antioxidant power of wild blueberries with the omega-3 and fiber benefits of chia seeds, creating a creamy, naturally sweet pudding that's perfect for breakfast, snack time, or even dessert.
Making chia pudding is straightforward and requires only a few minutes of prep time. Once you mix the ingredients together, the pudding sets on its own in the fridge. This makes it a convenient option for busy parents, as you can prepare it ahead of time and store it for up to a couple of days. I always prep a little more so I can share with my kids, you can add whatever toppings you like. This recipe is vegan, allergen friendly, naturally dairy-free, egg-free and gluten-free.
How to Serve:
For 7 month baby: You can actually blend the chia pudding if you want to make it smoother and make it to your desired consistency. I like to add a few pieces of banana on top for a touch of sweetness and some yogurt on top.
For 12 months & up: Serve as is, you can add yogurt on top as well with bananas, a drizzle of honey, YUM!
Substitutions:
If you want you can swap the water with some non-dairy milk and make it creamier.
For 12 months & up you can swap the date with some honey or maple syrup.
What you need:
