Almond Butter Banana Oatmeal
This recipe is for 6+ months
The first time I introduced almonds was with this yummy, nutritous oatmeal. This is one of the easiest recipes you can make, it is super simple and you probably have all the ingredients at home, at the moment. I remember one morning Zion was being really fussy and wasn’t letting me put him down, I ended up making this oatmeal with one hand and it turned out great! There’s no going wrong with it.
If your baby is younger you can use baby oatmeal or blend some rolled oats and if your baby is a little older you can use thinner instant oats, which is easier to swallow than rolled oats.
- Banana: Rich in potassium, vitamin C, and dietary fiber, bananas provide natural sweetness and a creamy texture that babies enjoy.
- Almonds: Packed with healthy fats, vitamin E, and protein, almonds support brain development and overall growth. For babies, almond meal or finely ground almonds are used to ensure a smooth texture.
- Oatmeal: A great source of fiber, iron, and B vitamins, oatmeal is gentle on the stomach and promotes healthy digestion.
