Ingredients & Substitutions:
Oats- For younger babies you can use blended oats. Rolled and instant oats is what works good for this recipe.
Blueberries- I use wild blueberries in this recipe, I think they are majorly different than normal blueberries. I do recommend using wild blueberries, they are sweeter in taste and don’t really have a peel like normal blueberries, but if preferred you can use normal blueberries. This can be substituted for another berry as well, for instance strawberries or raspberries.
Chia seeds- You can omit the chia seeds if preferred, but they do add a boost of nutrition and nicer consistency.
Milk of choice- Any milk will work for this recipe, cow milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, etc.
Maple Syrup- I used maple syrup, but you can use date syrup or for 12 months & up you can use honey. DO NOT use honey for under 12 months of age.
What you need:
Glass closed containers– These are the best ones, they work as storage containers or as smoothie cups with a straw.
