🥗 Nutritional Benefits

These peanut butter bars aren’t just delicious, they’re also packed with nourishing ingredients.

Peanut Butter
Peanut butter provides plant-based protein and healthy fats, which help keep little ones full and satisfied. It also contains important nutrients like vitamin E and magnesium.

Almond Flour
Almond flour adds healthy fats, fiber, and protein, while giving the bars a soft texture. It’s also naturally gluten-free and very gentle on little tummies.

Maple Syrup
Instead of refined sugar, this recipe uses pure maple syrup, which adds natural sweetness along with small amounts of minerals like manganese and zinc.

Chocolate Chips
A small handful of chocolate chips adds the perfect touch of sweetness and makes these bars feel like a special treat.

Together, these ingredients create a snack that is balanced, energizing, and satisfying.

🍽 How to Serve

These bars are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed in many ways throughout the day:

Quick morning snack before breakfast
Lunchbox addition for school-age kids
Afternoon pick-me-up when energy dips
Healthy dessert after dinner
Pre-activity snack for busy kids

For toddlers, you can slice the bars into smaller squares or thin strips to make them easier to hold and eat.

Because they’re stored in the freezer, they are also great for grab-and-go snacks when you’re in a rush.

🔄 Substitutions

This recipe is very flexible and easy to adjust based on what you have.

Peanut Butter: You can substitute with almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter if needed.
Almond Flour: Oat flour works well as a substitute.
Maple Syrup: Honey can be used instead (for children over 12 months).
