Looking for an easy, allergen-friendly snack that’s perfect for little hands and school lunches? These Strawberry Banana Bars are safe for babies 9 months & up, soft-baked, naturally sweetened, and made with just 4 simple ingredients: ripe bananas, freeze-dried strawberries, oats, and coconut oil. They’re nut-free, making them a fantastic option for babies, toddlers, and kids—especially those in nut-free daycare or school settings.

Whether you’re prepping for a busy week or just want a wholesome snack that doesn’t rely on processed ingredients, these bars are a must-try. They come together in one bowl, take just minutes to prepare, and are soft enough for baby-led weaning (BLW) or lunchboxes on the go.

Does it have to be freeze dried strawberries? What other substitutes can i use?

    • Eating With Zion

You can use fresh, but the amount of oats will need to be adjusted, I recommend adding 2-3 tbsp more of oats. They also won’t last as long, 2-3 days in fridge.

Can I dehydrate the strawberries instead of freeze drying them?
